1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Churnr website (churnr.ca) and mobile application (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Churnr Inc. ("Churnr", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Churnr provides tools for comparing Canadian credit cards, calculating personalized card recommendations (the "ChurnrScore"), tracking loyalty rewards, and exploring merchant-level earn rates. The Service is for informational and educational purposes only.

3. User Accounts

You may use certain features without an account via anonymous authentication. Anonymous sessions are temporary.
When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service beyond what is permitted by our robots.txt.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
Impersonate any person or entity.
Use the Service to provide competing commercial services.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, data, and trademarks on Churnr are the property of Churnr Inc. or its licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

Credit card names, logos, and program details are trademarks of their respective issuers and are used for identification purposes only.

6. Not Financial Advice

Churnr is not a financial advisor, credit counselor, or licensed financial institution. The ChurnrScore, card recommendations, and all content on the Service are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, credit, or tax advice. 7. Affiliate Relationships

Churnr may earn referral commissions when you apply for credit cards through affiliate links on our platform. Affiliate relationships do not influence our scoring algorithm or card rankings. Recommendations are based solely on your spending profile and the card's objective attributes.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Firebase (Google Cloud), Mapbox, and credit card issuer websites. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Churnr is not responsible for third-party content or practices.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, Churnr Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Churnr in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Churnr Inc. from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with updated Terms, discontinue use of the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
